Nancy Eberle, MPH
Assistant Researcher

Nancy Eberle Nancy Eberle is an Assistant Researcher with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Population Health Institute. As part of the Evaluation Research unit, Nancy serves as the lead Institute staff for the "What Works: Reducing Health Disparities in Wisconsin Communities" project. This three-year collaborative project with the Wisconsin Department of Health and Family Services is funded through the Wisconsin Partnership Fund. The project aims to identify and disseminate evidence-based practices with the potential to reduce health disparities in Wisconsin. The second key component of this project is the development of "Wisconsin's Promising Practices," a model for recognizing and supporting efforts that appear to be having an impact on health disparities in Wisconsin, but have not yet been demonstrated to be evidence-based practices.

Nancy has been with the Institute since 2005. Previous projects include a qualitative evaluation of the Wisconsin Diabetes Quality Improvement Project and assisting with the development of an evaluation plan for the University's new Institute for Clinical and Translational Research.

Prior to coming to the Institute, Nancy participated in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Public Health Prevention Service fellowship program where she gained experience in a broad range of public health issue areas and worked in a variety of settings from the local to the federal level. Nancy holds a Masters of Public Health degree from the Department of Health Behavior and Health Education at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
