Jessica Johnson received a B.S degree in biology and anthropology with a concentration in African studies from UW-Madison in 2006. Her previous public health experiences have included work with the Wisconsin State Department of Health and Human Services to reduce infant mortality, indoor air pollution research, visiting South Africa to study the scope and treatments of the HIV/AIDS epidemic and volunteering at student-run community health fairs while studying medicine in Grenada, West Indies. On completion of the MPH program, she plans to seek employment in pharmacy practice and become a community health educator. In her free time she enjoys traveling, playing the viola and volunteering for MEDiC.
