Determinants of Prescription Drug Utilization and Expenditures

This dissertation will examine the role of demographics, socioeconomic factors, insurance, health status, and chronic conditions as they relate to the change in prescription drug utilization and expenditures in the Unities States in recent years.  Data were obtained from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey.
