The Department of Population Health
Sciences has as its focus the health
of populations. Its mission is to create,
integrate, disseminate and apply knowledge
promoting the most efficient and effective
possible use of resources to maintain and improve
the public's health. We strive for nationally recognized
research excellence in integrative biology,
epidemiology, disease prevention, health policy
and management.
