The Robert Wood Johnson Health & Society Scholars Program is a new two-year fellowship designed to build the nation's capacity for research, leadership and action to address the broad range of factors affecting health.

University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute serves as a focal point for applied public health and health policy within the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School as well as a bridge to public health and health policy practitioners in the state.

University of Wisconsin's Center for Health Policy and  Program Evaluation (CHPPE) conducts applied research and systematic evaluation of health and human service programs and policies.

 

Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene (WSLH) develops and provides essential public health laboratory support to communities, agencies and private health providers consistent with the public health goals of the State.

Women's Health Initiative a large-scale, long-term study of women's health, sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.

Wisconsin Division of Health, the state agency responsible for protecting and promoting public health in Wisconsin.

Pulmonary Training Program provides pre- and postdoctoral training in pulmonary physiology, pathophysiology, and neurophysiology.

Wisconsin Tobacco Control Board Monitoring and Evaluation Program is a partnership among three University of Wisconsin organizations to evaluate tobacco use trends in Wisconsin, evaluatelocal and statewide efforts to decrease consumption, and build community capacity to evaluate programs at the local level.
